The Merchant of Venice: a Student Production in an abridged performance of William Shakespeare’s classic play, performed in modern English. Set in Venice in the 1900’s, this play wrestles with relevant themes that even modern viewers can appreciate, reflecting wittily on the nature of life, love, and human beings as we (don’t) know them.
